PLEIN AIR AND BOOKSALE PROCEEDS

What an incredible weekend!  I would like to thank EVERYONE that helped to make this year's Plein Air Festival and Book Sale so successful!  As I said yesterday, I have the best job in the world and it's not because of the library but rather the people it serves.  Now, don't get me wrong, our little library is very pleasant, but it wouldn't be any fun to work here if people didn't use it.  And use it we do, because 1,017 is this month's patron count so far AND WE'VE ONLY BEEN OPEN FOR 22 HOURS.

SUMMER READING Dress Like a Rock Star/Drum Circle

This morning was so fun!  Thank you to MCS, Smitty's Vintage Vibe and all the library patrons for participating in this fabulous drum circle.  65 showed up and everyone had something to play.  PLUS they all were told about the fabulous  ArtistWorks, an online music lesson program that is FREE with your library card.

RED BARN PRESERVE HIKING TRAIL OPEN

Be sure to check out the Morristown Red Barn Preserve and it's new trail. The boardwalk is impressive, the views are amazing and it is only the beginning. It is just a wonderful trail and such a tribute to Al and Lorraine.

24 ENJOY "RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS" PROGRAM

24 Community members came out to share in a very special program about the importance of kindness.  Our very own Megan Bush is the grassroots designer and facilitater of this ongoing club that will meet one Saturday each month at the library.  Kindness is infectious!

16 ENJOY VALENTINE CRAFT AT LIBRARY

16 patrons participated in Saturday's story and craft event.  To see more events at the library, check out our calendar here or on our Facebook page.  Plan your week with a visit to the library!
