TRUSTEES WORKING HARD TO REOPEN SAFELY

May 2020: The Trustees and Staff of the Morristown Public Library are working very hard to formulate a reopening plan within the boundaries of all local and state health and safety directives.  We share in your frustrations and want you to know that we are anxious to get back to regular operations!  Currently, the library is slated to open in Phase 4 of the Governor's Reopening Plan.  No date has been determined.  We are bound by law to remain closed until given the go-ahead.  Watch this website for updates.  We do know this - reopening of the library will happen in stages and the first one will most likely be curbside-only by appointment.  Policies are being revised within the boundaries of law to protect both patrons and staff, policies that will modify our Summer Reading, Plein Air and Booksale plans.
